Send the seller a spur grip with an AR grip adapter. If he installs it, your FFL should transfer it.

They told me that even if it had the spur grip they wouldn’t do it. So I guess it’s only my FFL’s policy

Yep. Find another FFL. I once drive over an hour away to another county because they told me that they couldn't transfer an SKS with a bayonet.

Dang, thanks for the info. That SAR definitely would’ve been worth a long drive. Unfortunately it’s probably gone by now, so the search is back on lol

next time just have it shipped in parts ... right @Willjr75 .. send the receiver to the FFL .. then the rest to your front door .. LOL .. .. damn loopholes
