I'm curious to hear how the Bulge Buster does. I expect it will work fine for what you're doing.

Start doing it. I think it will improve your situation. I do it and never have a problem. Maybe look at bringing the setting for your sizing die lower on the case just above the shell plate touching. ?? I won't hesitate to shoot some lube up in the decap-sizing die either on an occasion. I'm using Dillon stuff, carbide dies. 40 cal use to give me a problem. Not any more. Hornady One Shot lube is what I use. Any of them will work.

UPDATE: USPS (FUUSPS) delivered the bulge buster today and the 40/10mm FCD yesterday.
I ran all of the suspect (non-plunking) loaded rounds through it. After that I plunk tested them all. All plunked and dropped free. Loaded a mag of just the suspect rounds that had now been de-bulged. 100% reliability in the DW.
The brass still showed a line, but you could no longer catch it with a finger.
0% Kabooms.
So let it be known that it may not be the best idea to shoot sloppy tolerances Glock stuff in a Match barrel without de-bulging it, especially if the previous life of the brass was thermonuclear loadings.
Problem resolved.

Any way we could still get a pic of the brass after being busted? Also. If you can still see the line it means that part of the casing has been worked hard. That's like a perforation line now. Don't load those cases hot!
They were lost in the snow.
