A friend has one and it works ok. It does take a little tinkering with. His came with the auto disc powder drop that I dont like at all. I believe most come with the auto drum which id tons better imo. Depending on how much ammo you need to make the classic turret lee press may be a good option. I have the turret model and it is ultra easy but not as fast.
If you are looking to buy a new press look at all the options. I only looked at one, a Dillon and I never looked back. They are solid well made machines.
I have the Lee Classic Turret Press and I find it works good for loading 50 - 100 rds. at a time. I don't shoot in any organized sport though.
For a semi progressive press it fit the bill for me. All necessary steps in one 4 stage motion. I don't see how people use single stage presses without pulling their hair out. Maybe to load up a few precision rifle rounds at a time?
I have one for .45 ACP and like it.... When I first started using it I loaded up a bunch that for some reason didn't get a powder charge but other than that it has been pretty flawless
