Legal question on masks, voting

people wear hats to keep their head warm.....people wear boots to keep their feet dry.....what's the big issue about wearing a mask to keep a person and others a bit more protected ? I was a supervisor with an employee who constantly had to "test" the system. He was not popular with anyone and was often mocked because of the "stand" he chose to take about things that were inconsequential. I'm not saying to be a "sheep" but why wouldn't anyone take a small precaution to protect theirselves. It's not that a person is thinking of themselves but rather the people they don't know around them. Don't care to wear a mask to vote...then carry a shotgun into a police station..see how that works out about "rights" (spare me the"there is no solid info that masks help")

My wife just got back and she said you have to be 6-12 feet away and wear a mask. Those two contradict each other. It’s social distancing or a mask not both.
I agree with the OP that you can’t be denied a right for not wearing a mask. It’s your right to vote. I also agree with all the posters on here it’s likely not worth the fight and you voting matters more IMO.

I voted this morning around 8am. Parked with about 50 other caes in the lot. In and out in less than 5 minutes. People running the voting at Wendeville realy have their act together. No issues with "social distancing " either

I also wonder about the places taking temperatures at the entrance (where I voted they were). If someone has too high of a temperature, would they be denied entry?

You are voting to get rid of the Mask..

I made an exception and wore a mask for a close friends wake. They knew how I felt about and and appreciated the gesture greatly. And today because of what you said , I wore the burka for 5 minutes to vote . If I didn't have to work today , I would have video taped the person saying I have to have a mask to vote. I walked in, went to the table where the women told me I needed a mask. I put it on , voted took it off inside . I did it for the flag . but it burned my ass.
