Titles says it all, really, but can we actually buy ammo online? Seems like Andy says no, but everyone else says maybe...
Everyone has been car pooling to Ohio and Pennsylvania. No shippers to NY that I know of. Clearly everyone is observing the 2A constitutional infringements bestowed upon us. Some people ship it legally to their friendly FFL and pay the transfer fee.
How about CT ?
Show me the part of the safe act that says "no online sales".
There *are* places that will ship here, and there is nothing illegal about it.
SAFE says background check for ammo, once the system is in place. That is what will *eventually* shut down online purchases, but it is not ready yet. Do they do that at walmart ? Then why would an online retailer be any different.
Huh.
Same as Mass, then.
Any number of pussies won't ship to MA, but it is guaranteed 100% legal.
Now, possessing ammo as a Mass resident is ILLEGAL without an LTC, or course.
But that's hardly the OOS Seller's concern. The OOS Seller should be concerned with the ATF - PERIOD.
I'll bet there are some issues with interfering in InterState Commerce here.
The search function is your friend.I'm pretty sure the sellers are at fault, in that case, so they just want to avoid any possible trouble... same thing in NY which is why I had the original question
The search function is your friend.
Again, feel free to use the SEARCH function. Or maybe just keep up with the laws. really not that hard. The laws have a tendency to change suddenly, subtly, or silently in NY, so sometimes re-asking a question isn't really a bad thing
If you don't want to see people post repeat questions, then maybe just ignoring them would work better... just sayin is all I'm sayin
OK, now that picture is sad but laugh out loud funny! The only law you need to know in NYS:

And, if you actually live in NYS, you are, by law already under arrest because you're guilty of something, somewhere, sometime, or you're a "deplorable", and were born under arrest.
Other than that, carry on!!
ROFLMAOAgain, feel free to use the SEARCH function. Or maybe just keep up with the laws. really not that hard.
Use the fucking search function will ya'
And great first post, coming online to ask a legal question! Good idea!
And yeah, don't like my attitude, too bad!
Use the search function, use Google... But please don't ask that fucking stupid question without doing some work on it yourself!
Fact is, you own a firearm but aren't aware of the laws governing it. That's a problem...
Fact is you compound your lack of knowledge by coming online to ask a "Legal" question which is counter-intuitive and also a problem.
Fact is if you were told to do something illegal, Do you think telling the judge that they said it was ok online will help you out? Try it and you'll have problems.
Fact is that this particular question is a sore, worn raw subject, if you search and find your answer, you'll then understand.
Fact is that is why I'm being an ass to your question.
Have a nice day!
And oh, welcome to the forum.

There is nothing in NY law to charge you with.I actually found a site that'll ship to NY'er doorsteps... I still have no idea if it's legal but damn it's tough to pass up $200 for 500rd's of 7.62 NATO
