Now that we're on 24/7 shutdown, how long will it be till the disgusting calls of domestic violence increases? IMO it is going to be an inevitable side effect of being forced into closed quarters and probably increased alcohol consumption.

I am out in the garage in the backyard it overlooks an industrial area maybe 100yds away. Just watched, part time, a DV call by two Syracuse cruisers.

A guy and gal had been yelling at each other for a while. I had watched them and just seemed like words to me. The guy was trying to change a tire. It’s hot and humid here in the Cuse and they were probably tired. They were not fist fighting
Well I guess someone else called.

No arrests the gal got to drive off first after awhile the cruisers left and the guy drove off. Probably if there is no blood not many people going to jail for awhile.

I had to step out this morning to give a friend down the road a hand loading a gantry crane into a trailer.

When I got back the wife was gone. She ran down to urbania to do some stuff for her mother.

I told her to leave her truck locked up even while she's in it.

In fairness, with the current NYS catch and release program, arresting them wasn't doing much to keep them in control either.

If it would stay above freezing at night I'd put my camper in the parking lot at work and just stay there. Get a lot of OT and not be stuck at home with the wife all day every day off.
