let’s close this thread I need to get some space in the safe, and raise some cash. For sale is my early 150 serial number prefix fixed sight security six in 357 Mag with a 2.75 inch barrel. This is an early low back security six, and takes the earlier trip style. I am not the original owner, so no round count, has a turn ring, some rings and wear from carry, and some bluing wear on high points and end of barrel. It has a spurred hammer installed, but I have a bobbed hammer that will be included. Function is fine, bore, timing lockup is fine.
Now the not so good, before I got it the lower back of the grip frame was rounded, and the front sight which is pinned on was changed. The front sight is not an original, but can easily be changed if desired. The rounding of the grip frame makes it easier to carry, and did not impact the serial number on the grip frame. The area that was rounded has been cold blued. The grips are not originals but fit and feel good.
This would be collectible but due to the modifications is a shooter only.
I would like $300 face to face, I do not want to ship as I would like you to see the revolver. I am midway between Buffalo and Rochester and can meet at your ffl for transfer. Transfer fees to be paid by buyer. I also could meet at Buffalo or Rochester gun show.
