No, I made the knife from a solid round steel bar I found. I used a piece of train rail as an anvil. Heated the bar in the fire coals and pounded it to shape. Took a lot of work because the campfire wouldn't get it very soft...just a barely glowing orange.

Actually really like this. My only indoor gardening was some lettuce some years back. It didn't grow super stout but I got a salad out of it. There were little bugs on the dirt and stuff but I've contemplated doing it again. Your tomatoes are looking pretty healthy.
