That’s sharp looking.Custom Wes Wallace recurve. I skinned the limbs myself with a pair of dried Timber Rattler Skins.

How do to you adhere the snake skin?Technically the bow on the left isn’t mine. It’s my wife’s Bob Lee takedown recurve. She liked how my snake skinned bow came out so much that she asked me to do hers. So I found a pair of green hued prairie rattler skins to match the color of her riser.

If my dad didn’t give away the German P38 he said he’d give me I’ve got the other side of things covered. My father in law took this off a German officer in WW2 I've had it for 50 years.
Be great if you could get that. I have the original holster for this and Mags. this has matching numbers. the German was drawing this on him when he shot him. thats about all he ever told me about being in the war, he never talked about it much.If my dad didn’t give away the German P38 he said he’d give me I’ve got the other side of things covered.
It’s a 1944/45 p38 with an officers holster and his initials burnt into the holster and two original mags. In great shape. Not numbers matching but that’s not uncommon because it was made in occupied France when the Germans were getting bombed to fuck and the machines went out of tolerance regularly. They just played puzzle until they got one that ran. It was in great shape. My grandpas friend took it off a dead German in WWII and gave it to him when he worked at chevy.
My dads friend was dying and he said he’d give it to him to lift his spirits. I protested to my mother and she lied to me, like normal, and said that’s not the plan and not what your father meant. His friend was there and said doesn’t your son want it. I was shaking my head yes vigorously. I think my father gave it to him anyway. This friend of his is a good guy and I’m hoping next time I see him he has a package for me since his dad did pass of cancer. My kids are playing call of duty WWII and they were talking about it with my dad. I said they are really into WWII guns hoping he’d bust it out and show the kids. No such luck so I think he passed it along!! Yeah my dads too nice. Nazi markings and everything. They are end of war low production with the package it’s was worth around $3,500 from what I could tell. Just the holster was $500 and mags $100 each when I looked. I did moisturize the leather and line it up a few years ago. The holster was nearly perfect.
Is that the same as .30Lugar? If so I have a full stripper clip or two of ammo for it.For me it’s a very cool piece of history.
