There are similarities between this nonsense and just about every member organization. A tiny percentage of members pay attention to what's going on. Even less get involved. Ever look at the percentage of NRA members who vote? Ever vote for a BOD member because of some vague name recognition, or because the ballot says "pick 10" and you only know about 3? The solution is to be educated and get involved, but 'ain't nobody got time fo' that'!There seems to be similarities between NRA bad management and NYSRPA management. SCOPE to a minor degree. How does the problem get fixed?
FWIW I will be keeping my annual NRA membership. I'll be looking at alternatives to replace SCOPE.
I'm here for you, buddy!I'm searching for a good home to nest my orphaned dollar's.

Yeah, I'm done with SCOPE too, seems a few people thought they were more important than the mission, to a certain extent kind of like the NRA, and NYPRA for that matter. I'm searching for a good home to nest my orphaned dollar's.

I think the best bet is to donate directly to private lawyers that are going after gun laws by themselves with no help from any of these organizations.Yeah, I'm done with SCOPE too, seems a few people thought they were more important than the mission, to a certain extent kind of like the NRA, and NYPRA for that matter. I do not support these groups, I used to. The NRA has done more harm than good lately for the gun rights of Americans.
