Front base is RVF (Reversible Front) which allows more scope mounting flexibility by maintaining ring spacing to Short-Action spacing (approx 4"). Matte finish, medium height rings for 1" tube scopes up to about 40 mm objective lenses. You can check Leupold's website under 'Mount Finder' to see if they will work for your build. Exc. Cond., all screws present, no rust, very minor bluing wear, nothing stripped, never overtorqued. $20 picked up.
