Light for your reloading press

I just purchased a light made just for my loader. It is from a company called KMS Squared. They have lights available for most loaders. Cost was about $30.00 shipped. Comes with the light, a switch and a 12 volt adapter. Here are a couple of pictures.

I've got the same press. I added strips of white LEDs inside the front post and under the die plate. Like yours, they work well and allow for easier visualization of powder in charged cases.

I also added an LED inside my ram (just below the shell plate at the charging station - done by drilling into the cast metal, inserting colored LED, and securing in place with hot glue). That way, if I get a primer seating problem and the primer gets missed, I can see the light reflecting in the empty case. I have had issues with the priming system on the Lee Loadmaster.

I use a simple LED flashlight sitting atop the glory hole. Not quite as bright as yours but does the job.

to the OP's led ring .. seen post on that from FB gun groups .. some say its to bright .. so get some black fingernail polish and black out some of the LED's .

It does not seem to bright to me. Lights up just right, but everyone has different tolerances for light.

I like this. I have the same press as you, and have LED strip light mounted on the inside of 1 of the risers. It works, but does not really shine down inside of the case. Thanks for the heads up on this.

Got the same manufacturer on my lnl and it’s makes a big difference looking down the throats of 9mm and 45s

The lights are nice, but where did you get the knobs holding the press to the uni-plate?

I bought those at Ace Hardware. Just added a couple of nuts to limit the travel. The thread is 1/4-20. They run about $4.00 ea. I am sure the have them at Home Depot or Loews. I got the ones with holes in the top and threads. Added a 1/4-20 x 2 1/2” carriage bolt with a nut under the knob to lock it in place.

In Line Fabrication sells lots of accessories. Been thinking of getting the riser for mine. I currently sit when running and its kind of a nice break. Undecided.

I looked at In Line Fab. They have some nice stuff. The risers are nice but I prefer to sit while reloading. I think for me the riser would be too high while I sit.

I was looking at a set for my press. Nice upgrade. It beats using a flashlight to look into a case to check the powder.
