Lightening a Glock Trigger

Have any of you guys lightened your Glock's trigger? If so how?

I have been looking online and most go with the 3.5 Connector.

The problem is it seems that those that seem like they actually know what they are talking about say that the 3.5 connector doesn't actually reduce the pull but instead eliminates the wall while many say that it does actually reduce the pull.

Any of you guys or gals have any experience with this?

Usual disclaimer : I am a Glock advanced armorer. So there is a high probability I have NFC (no f*** clue).

Specifically, do you want to reduce your trigger pull? If yes, a different ("3.5lb") connector will usually do the trick. The downside is, the actual wall where your trigger breaks more often than not changes, and the approach to that wall can sometimes get mushy.

If I was going to put a "lighter" trigger in any of my Glocks (I have, and I do), it would either be the "3.5lb" connector, OR one of the Ghost connectors or kits.


Ghost Triggers and All That...
I have a Ghost kit in one of my (admittedly more than a few) Glocks. Works like buttah.

Some shooters pair a "3.5lb" connector with a 10lb NY1 spring for a stiffer takeup but a crisp break at the trigger wall.
If you are ever on this side of the beautiful Hudson, you are more than welcome to shoot any of my Glocks.

I am not a big fan of making irreversible changes to Glock parts. But for those that do, fire mechanism components are relatively inexpensive where if one part gets fouled, replacements don't necessarily kill the weekend beer fund.

I run the 3.5 connectors, and it feels like a lighter pull. It definitely softens the wall which im not crazy about, but i think its a worthwhile improvement for the money.

The 25 cent trigger job is nice. It won't lighten the trigger per say, but it makes it a lot smoother. Although, you can replicate the 25 cent job by firing a few hundred rounds.

Agreed. Using a 3.5# connector along with polishing the interfacing surfaces (between connector and trigger bar) and the head of the firing pin safety plunger smooths and lightens the trigger.

I purchased a Ghost kit. not as light as 3.5, I went 5.0. I didn't notice the pull weight so much but the reset was noticeably much shorter
