This past week had a tin of time to kill. When we get a 1/4 inch of show everything is shut down. Well we got around 18 inches of show this week so no work all week.
I got a shit load of brass all 100% prepped.
I got a bunch of dies all set up in my Hornady Lock n Load bushings.
I loaded a bunch of 243 Winchester test bullets to try out in two 243 rifles I have.i loaded some test bullets for a 308 rifle I have.
I started making test bullets for my M1 Garand.
I loaded up a couple hundred 38spl and 357mag bullets for my grandson to shoot as well as a hundred 44spl.bullets for him.
I bought a black & decker cordless screw driver and had an adapter made to power my RCBS case trimmer. I made up a 2x6 with a support for the screwdriver. It works really decent.
My brother bought himself and me the Lee Bench top primping tool. I got that set up.on a piece of 5/8" plywood and did a shitliad of priming. I like it a lot better then the hand held priming tool.
I picked up a set of RCBS 380 auto dies and a set of RCBS 8mm dies at a pawn shop the other day. I dont have a 380 auto or a 8mm rifle, but I will get them set up for any of my friends who.mightvwant to load them calibers. I also have other calibers dies set up for guns I dont have. 300win mag, 25/06, and a couple of other calibers.
I had 45 pounds of range brass that I got separated and put it all through the dry tumbler. I will get going on getting it all.prepped as time permits.
I need to get reloading test bullets for my 7mm mag.
30 caliber carbine.
22-250
22TCM rifle, I want to buy the pistol.
I have so many different caliber rifles to unload for. Now is the time to take the time to load bullets, load bullets and then load more bullets.
It has been a fun week up in my gun room.
Tomorrow night is beer night, a bunch of Budweiser on ice. So it will be brass prep time and Classic Country on the radio.
I made up a spray bottle of the homemade spray lube, liquid lanolin and the red jug of Heet dry gas. 10 to 1 ratio. I like it. I order another 4oz container of liquid lanolin to have on hand.
I also got a small.container of the Imperial dry neck lube that Robin uses. I like that stuff.
I huge investment I made to buy all of this reloading equipment and accessories is really paying off. I need to restock some powders and bullets.
