Fine rifle and accessory's! Just want to know what you think of the 10x SWFA? Have a 50 BMG with US tactical rings looking for a scope( for 200 yard shooting), and from what I here these are good and they really hold up.

Mossberg 590a1: 20" barrel, 8+1 magazine tube capacity + 6 shot side holder (15 total), xs ghost ring sights, promag enhanced safety latch, 590a1 heat shield (PITA to install), magpul SGA stock w/ Limbsaver recoil pad and w/ cheek riser, regular 2-point sling with GG&G front sling attachment and Magpul QDM rear attachment. I was basically looking to build a modern version of the old M12 trench gun...something that would also be fun for target shooting but still somewhat practical for SHTF scenarios.
Accounting for all the modifications and ammo, and considering the fact that the thicker-barrel 590a1 is heavy to begin with, this thing has got a bit of heft to it. You wouldn't want to be shooting unsupported for long strings of fire. In hindsight, I should have bided my time and looked for a Magpul edition of the 590a1, since I ended up installing most of those components. The SGA stock w/ limbsaver recoil pad is a game-changer, especially if you plan to shoot lots of full-power buck-shot and slugs. I can't say that this thing is a joy to shoot because its a shotgun, but it certainly handles much better with these modifications.

Here was a birthday gift from a good friend of mine - Mossberg Scorpion.
I'm planning on getting a Magpul Forend, MOE foregrip and a Sightmark SM26008DE Ultra Shot Plus for it.

Here is an updated picture of my Scorpion with the Magpul hardware. I had to bend the heat shield in to make it fit with the Magpul forend.
My pre WWII Erma-Werke E36 .22 (5.4mm) target rifle that my dad brought back from Germany right after the war. Still shoots sub moa at 50 yards. Once I fgiure out how to do it I want to add a scope to it. The problem is that the dovetail in front of the receiver is flat and behind the reciever the dovetail is round. Go figure. I tried adding a 4" offset dovetail to picatinny rail mount but could not get the correct eye relief on the scope. The scope was still too far forward. I think I will have to use offset scope rings and the offset rail together.

Thanks, I didn't even think of that. Great suggestion. I just looked at the Vortex Crossfire II 2-7x32mm and it has 9-1/2 inches of eye relief. More then I need, Thanks again.
