If I was selling 80% lowers, I would not retain any records any longer than absolutely necessary.

Maybe some long term anonymized data for business purposes.

How is it a states attorney has the authority to control interstate commerce and threaten companies who are not in NY? How is it also legal for NY to demand sales records from an out of state company without a warrant? Does she plan on attaining these records to then go and arrest NY residents who have purchased these blocks of metal and plastic? I'm so sick of hearing about NY officials trying to throw their weight around where they have no authority. By the way they go about it, you'd think NY runs the country.

Even if these sellers/manufacturers were in NY, they aren't doing anything illegal. 80% lowers are still perfectly legal in NY. They aren't "assault weapons" and they can be made into weapons that aren't "assault weapons." I don't see how she has ANY authority whatsoever to do this.
