What's a good gun reading magazine these days? Guns n Ammo doesn't do it for me. American Rifleman has gone down the crapper. New and stock firearms. Ammo and reloading. Rifles, handguns, shotguns.

I've had several subscriptions over the years (Guns and Ammo, Rifle Shooter, Handgun Magazine) and let them all lapse. Most of the "articles" are really just advertisements for the firearms, ammunition, or accessories that they're spotlighting.

You know, I like looking at the gun, ammo, and accessory ads.
Feels like looking at the toy guns and toys in the Sears / Montgomery Wards / Speigel Christmas Wish Catalogs.
But as I recall (sarcasm ... I know), those Christmas Catalogs were free.

I use to subscribe to gun tests. Not any fluff, usually only a small amount of pages, but IIRC, was pretty solid with their reporting.

I have at least 10 years of OLDER magazines free for the taking if anyone wants them. I got them about 15 years ago when I bought a gun guys estate. I don't remember what there are but if interested just PM me and I'll dig em out.

I usually buy a shooters bible every 10 years or so. I'm down to just American Rifleman and you're correct, its nore more than a 2-3 shit read now..
