Looking for Gun Store in Rome NY area

Hello all, maybe you saw my post earlier about my BIL that past away unexpectantly. My SIL has three Kimbers he had and looking to get them turned in. We are looking for gun shop in Rome area or syracuse if need be to turn these pistol into. We are looking for possibly someone put them for sale on consignment for her or to store for a bit while she gets her permit as there is one she may want to keep for nostalgia reasons. Thank you.

Franks guns is out so we know about him but not interested doing anything with him. Or even just hold them while we try to sell via here or gunbroker or something not sure how they handle storage fees but can anyone recommend anyone to help us out?

Thank you for your input.. I have reached out to Gun works of central ny as they may only really be a gunsmith but reached out to them to see if a retail business as well.

ARRESTS ARE LIKELY COMING, FOR YOUR RELATIVES, CURRENT AND UNTIMELY, ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF PISTOLS. It is almost a conspiracy on your part now, to avoid the NYS laws.

CALL THE SHERIFF IMMEDIATELY, have them surrendered, AND AVOID ALL THE LEGAL BULLSHIT.

Then a FFL of your choice will come and pick them up legally............no one in this scenario is authorized to be carrying those pistols anywhere now.

TRYING TO SCAM THE CURRENT RULES, IS JUST INSANE GRIFTING to avoid some fees or to just run off with them...................that is the way the cops will likely see it..

I'm late to the thread so you may already have your answer, but you can try Runnings in Rome and Bass Pro Shop in New Hartford - although if they weren't co-registered you may not be able to do so, unfortunately.

Looks like you went to CNY Gunworks, I was going to suggest them. Bear Arms gun shop in Little Falls is also a good place. Its really too bad Utica Firearms closed. The place was located in a shady area, but they had everything.
