Building an AR10 doesnt really require any learning. Id personally get a complete upper and build the lower.

You have to be careful some AR10 uppers and lowers don't matchup :idk:

Well yes. But the processing of assembling isnt bad, is what I was referring to. Hell, I managed to do a ton of lower builds.

Be keen on the differences between AR-10 and DPMS LR-308. They are almost the same but the pattern uppers on AR-10's are angled and DPMS LR-308's are rounded.

You need to be sure that the upper you are purchasing fits your lower.

It sounds way more intimidating than the process actually is.

It's not nearly as hard as it sounds and there are tons of resources online to Walk you through it step by step.

@MikeGrad I haven’t built any AR10’s but I’ve built plenty of AR15’s. Building AR10’s and AR15’s are practically the same. As long as you have the proper tools and some knowledge on how everything works, it’s relatively easy. I even threw in a pic of a NY compliant one in there.
