At present, New York remains behind the legislative eight ball since the state government has told SCOTUS to "get bent" and proceeded to name everywhere in the state a "sensitive area" where firearms are prohibited.

There is currently no magazine ban lawsuit against New York. There are 2 that challange NY Assault Weapons Ban (which may include the magazine limits but I'm not sure and do not think so).

The reason this is now happening in California (LA) is because California has already lost in district court in their magazine ban case, (this was a time known as Freedom Week, when for a single week people of California were able to order/buy magazines) California challanged this loss in the 9th Circuit.. long story short there was a stay on the rulings while everyone waited for the Bruen decision.

Now that the Bruen decision is out and actually supports the original Districts court ruling, it's just a matter of time before the law being ruled unconstitutional is official. But in the mean time as you see here the parts of California are just accepting the inevitable

I read somewhere that Most of the Jet crashes do not happen from one event but a succession and cumulation of multiple smaller, catastrophic events. NY has taken a big missile hit from SCOTUS, now its up to Machinegun fire to bring it down.

Well, seeing as how civilians owned battleships when the Country was new and the Constitution ratified, I think we should all pitch in to purchase a light missile cruiser and park it off of Long Island.
