Actually a decent Republican, Mark Assini, gave a pretty strong showing the last two elections. The margin was less than 1000 votes in 2014. Now that the incumbent advantage is gone, it's definitely winnable. I believe James Maxwell was going to be the Conservative and Republican candidate for the regular election. I'd be very surprised if he didn't throw in for the special too.
