Not bad. Most would say a simple single stage press would be a wise choice. I didn't listen. I bought one after my progressive press and now it's most all I use. Not sure if you're looking for mass production pistol or precision rifle.

I keep dipping my toe in the water but opting out due to time constraints. My primary objective would be pistol (9MM) and rifle (223/556, mayne 308). Definitely volume over precision shooting.

But in general for a noob a good set up?

Doesn't seem like a ton of cash to start learning. I don't have any experience with the brand but you can always upgrade if you stay with it.

I like RCBS stuff myself but you could do worse than that deal. The turret press is almost like a single stage press and almost like a progressive press.

Price wise I guess it's fair. But your paying for stuff you won't need for 9mm. Honestly look around and find a used set up and let the OP take the loss on all the lil add ons. On the other hand, That press would be good to learn on as it only preforms one function at a time ( like a single 'O'type press) and you only set the die's up once. Welcome to the club but I warn you you will always find more reloading stuff that you 'need'!

Whatever you tell yourself reloading ain’t cheaper. It is true the cost per round will go down but the rounds shot per range visit will go up dramatically.
