Curious what the Sg looks like?
I received one last wk, 1942 SA , nos barrel , but heavy pitting above and below wood on the receiver. Quite dissatisfied.

I haven’t yet taken delivery of it, but I’ll let you know when I do. Looks like the serial number that CMP gave me in my order puts it in 1956 H&R production.

Absolutely the worst rifles I have ever got from cmp.
Your HR should be GTG though , they have the finest quality rifles of all the manufacturers. Can't wait to see pics.

Yeah, it’s out there. I’m just seeing if there’s anything more local.

Bump, plus a pic. Super psyched with it…looks like a ‘53’ish receiver and bolt (according to people smarter than I), with a ‘51 barrel and USGI stock.
Still no food for it, though!
