It's alot easier if you use your index finger to load than your thumb. Like you would with rifle rounds. No fatigue that way.

I use the uplula and the other night at the range I timed myself loading 3 G34 mags. I came out with 50.5 seconds using bulk rounds. I think if I had the rounds in a box it would have been faster. So the guy in the video is pretty slow....

I wrote off the ETS loader but I might have to take a second look at it.

At 30 bones I did as well, but based on the second video especially, I'm probably going to need to snag one

For rifle mags the ETS loader works quite well. Slowest part is getting the rounds into the loader first; if you load from a box like John Lovell did it is much faster than loose rounds. I prefer the Maglula for pistol mags. Especially helps with 10-round limited mags that are quite tight.
