To be honest it shouldn't. This isn't high end stuff, most of it. Not anymore, at least. It's just no one puts in the time to make unified systems for civilians these days.

“Advanced technologies” especially ones based off of the U.S. military. After a certain technology is released to the public U.S. Market, the U.S. military has been using that exact technology for decades. We won’t hear about what the military is currently using until 10-30+ years from now.
