Turns out the Maine mass shooter had many mental issues, was hospitalized for a mental break and many people reported irrational behavior to the sheriff. The sheriff went on vacation and assigned no one to follow up and 18 people died from it.
So why is this the story time and time again. I get if one person say an ex girlfriend or wife reported something but this was many people reporting the same concerns.

if you take his/her guns away, the narrative goes away. How can you take law abiding gun owners guns away if no one is running around killing people.
