Yeah, well... It may be over, lights out for NY Shitty! Coming next, is layoffs by the hundreds, then thousands as the city won't be able to meet payroll! Services cut, and costs climb, taxes to follow, with more cuts! Vicious cycle! And with nowhere to go, no entertainment, culture or the likes, all those apartments are going to stay empty too... And as much as I hate these idiots (Cuomo & Deblasio) I'm sorry to see this all happening as the number of lives affected by this thing isn't going to be limited to just the ones who fell ill or died... There is going to be countless casualties! But I bet you... I'd bet my house, that free college for undocumented criminal migrants hasn't been put on hold either though! Mrs. prambo and I could have at least made it over the border to PA. But we chose The 'Hood because it was deep in the ADK, she was born up here and we could both still be close to our kids.
This was the summer of 2011...then came 2013 and the UnSAFE Act...and it's been all downhill for this state and the nation in general ever since.
We even have some local semi-bigshot asshole throwing a fit over the "Stars and Bars" flag because..."racism". Dumb bastard doesn't even know history - even Wikistupidia has that right. So the The 'Hood in the Northern Wood is no bastion of conservative thought - it's awash in the same societal insanity as the rest of the country.
And yes, we wish we were in some "free" state, but it's too late for us now, physically and monetarily. That's the part that really torques our jaws - we "could" have escaped - but we didn't think far enough into the future.
It isn't going to get better in NYS, and CA and NY style politics (AKA Maoism) will spread country wide. We would have preferred to just live with more freedom in the few years we have left.

Problem is... There's actually a huge Exodus from all major cities that are spreading to the once insulated and safe conservative heavens!!! Look at Virginia! Who woulda thunk it!?!? Texas even is being invaded by Californians at alarming rates... It's going to be hard to push that pin on a map and say, hey... That's the spot! Even the "Live Free or Die" State is having some issues. The problem is these liberal progressives fail to associate the political ideology with the government failures they've experienced and are now running from. Taking with them their intact belief that their version of the progressive agenda is fine and will work where they bring it, and how everyone in their new surroundings has had it wrong for so long and need to change to their ideology! Not sure what state I want to live , but I'm thinking about avoiding property taxes which will inevitably rise and retiring on a house boat/sailboat. Ive never sailed before , but it seems like a way to avoid the coming draconian tax laws. maybe head to the British/German /French/ virgin islands and park my ass. My own private cruise line. And I love seafood! Bonus!
