People are not putting up with the GOP and CP being little more than rubberstamps for Governor Cuomo and the far-left.
There is no alternative for 2A advocates but to be involved in Democrat politics. Gun owners must attend their events, take part in their candidate selection process and vote in their primaries. Even if all Republicans in the legislature vote in unison they have no ability to advance or block legislation.

Democrat congressional hopeful Jamaal Bowman ranked "white male domestic terrorism" as America's most urgent problem while downplaying the issue of illegal immigration at a Monday appearance on "The Hardy Report" podcast.
"There's no evidence that the crime in this country, particularly the heinous crime, is committed by our immigrant neighbors. So again, it's a false narrative," Bowman said. "The biggest issue in our country is white male domestic terrorism. That's the biggest issue and that's what we need to deal with straight away."
Bowman, a Bronx middle school principal, is running an insurgent bid to unseat incumbent Democrat representative Eliot Engel in New York's 16th district. The challenger's focus on "white male domestic terrorism" over illegal immigration puts him at odds with the priorities of American voters—23 percent of respondents called immigration the "most important problem facing the country" in a recent Gallup survey, the highest measured since the pollster first began mentioning the issue in 1993.

Example: If Stefani in a primary, vote for her opponent. If she loses gun owners declare a big victory. If she wins, but is forced to spend lots of time & money doing so, gun owners declare a minor victory.

It has to start with the NRA. Case in point, they, and others, could very easily have told members to vote for anyone other than Tish James in last years Dem primary for AG as there was a realistic chance to have a less offensive candidate go on to win.
They also need to stop attacking their own members who happen to be elected Dems., Bill Magee being the most recent example.

No fault... The trouble with your party is it is rapidly rolling to the extreme left ... The Party platform that was around when Kennedy was president is more in line with Republicans today. .. Are you in agreement with what the presidential runners are running on ... The state will provide all your needs ... Forgive all school debt, health care for all at no cost to the average American... Shut down the oil ,gas, coal mines because of something called global warming .. Ban all gas and diesel powered cars and trucks .. Limit what guns we would be allowed to own ... No weapons of war ... Almost every gun in this country was at some point a weapon of war... When one looks at the big picture .... All of these things would limit our ability to defend ourselves in a major war. No coke to make steel .. No trains .. no pipelines ... No factories ... ... what is worse than that is skilled labor to do these jobs if they are allowed to slip away. ... GREECE, N.Y. -- If these now demolished walls could talk, they'd tell quite the tale.
"Over 200 ships were built from 1942 to 1948," said Marie Poinan, with the Greece Historical Society, where some of those tales are on display at a WWII exhibit.
"John Odenbach had a patented method of welding ships together that didn't include rivets," Poinan said. "He took out a series of five patents."
Odenbach took his family from the quarry business into shipbuilding, constructing the Odenbach Shipyard on Dewey Avenue in 1942.
"They launched the boats sideways in the channel they had to build," Poinan said.

I agree, all that white supremacist male terrorist violence we here about in the inner cities on the news must stop immediately. Now if we can only find someone who fits that description in the areas that need the most help with violence we'd have the start of a grass roots movement.

I don't feel the democrap party is my party. I've always voted for the person I felt best regardless of affiliation. It's like being christened a catholic...there is no choice at that age and party affiliation is mainly passed on by family. I don't like clubs or cliques as , in my experience, they let a person down sooner or later. Under My senior Class picture evreyone had a saying under their Year Book ....mine was " every man for theirself"
