Making Otsego Co. a gun-law sanctuary

The Otsego County legislature will consider a resolution making the county a “gun-law sanctuary” at the next meeting of the Public Safety & Legal Affairs Committee scheduled for Thursday, December 10 @ 12:00pm.

The meeting will be live streamed off their Facebook page.

Good for them. This is really just using the same trick the state govs use against the feds. If the feds let states get away with whatever, then local sanctuaries should be possible just like sanctuary cities for illegals.

The sword swings both ways. Either uphold all sanctuaries, or none.

Although I like the concept, its feel good legislation at best Unless they are going to lock all the feds and staties out of the county its pointless.
