Man barricaded in Wappinger, may have shot himself

WAPPINGER – Police are on the scene of a man barricaded in a residence on Marlorville road at Route 9D in Wappingers with reports of shots fired.

Two sources said the subject just came on a police radio he had stolen and said, “I love my wife and kids more than anything,” and then shot himself.

That has yet to be confirmed by police.
