But there isn't a law against pistol braces.
The ATF just decided in their own one day to make one. Despite them not being part of the legislative branch.
And their excuse is that the law passed by congress is ambiguous about braces, so they can do what they want.
I *really* want to see someone make the argument that "if the ATF says the law isn't clear, then the whole section of law is unconstitutional for vagueness".

The Federal prosecutors have filed roughly 290,000 indictments for a wide ranging slew of charges.

Well the CHEVRON DEFERENCE which was established in 1984 was Overturned which means any rule or regulation put forward by any federal agency (such as the ATF) can be litigated. The fourth branch of Government was destroyed with that ruling. EPA along with USAID have been nurtured and I believe Trump is going after the IRS. Gun Rights groups need to challenge that way.
In 2023 ATF investigated 30,000 cases,; 6,000 ended up in prosecution, after pleas bargains and setting up 24,000 perps as snitches everywhere...........
Those 30,000 investigations, included all possible Fed gun offenses.

Arm Brace Pistols are for the disabled, to be able to shoot guns.
The confusion comes from cases like these..............if in doubt, register as SBR.

Running afoul of any of these would and should result in instantly challenging it! No different than the US EPA trying to seize control and regulate "ANY" body of water, etc., the bizzaro world where these acronym agencies running amok is over!
