There are at least 600,000,000 firearms in the hands of private citizens in this country. Probably more. It is the largest armed civilian population in the world.
The rest of the country is not NY and Commiefornia. I agree we are in very deep trouble.
However, it took several decades of big government to get us here, from the Feds finally right down to the local governments.
The latent nation in the form of colonials who were British subjects sprang up because their own nation was stomping on their Rights, many of whom had fought for the Crown. They too suffered decades of political failure, until the British crown tried to shut them down politically by breaking up their meetings with force, attacking their leaders, trying to force them to join the Church of England, and by trying to take their guns. Politics played out, and the Founders, elite and common both, took the next step.
I'm not saying that Americans are finally going to pull their head out after decades of political abuse and usurpation.
I am saying that We the People could, dammit! The possibility is still there if we take our fate into our own hands!
What is happening in America is not yet a fait accompli; and it need not be.
Nothing that you put down do I disagree with.
I do not think the people are up to the task needed.
I saw the way the majority of the people responded to with Covid.
