There is a NIB one FB right now for $800. Has not been any takers yet. Used seems to be between $450 and $650 depending on condition and magazines.
Having been bent over and reamed dry by Buds , I understand shills, but I've never been screwed by GB. Care to share so I know what to avoid?
Yeah definitely can’t sell then. I paid $900. Lots of mags and 2 extra lowers, but still that would be a big hit.

When you see bids relatively quickly after your bid from the same person, it is generally the seller bidding the price up (shill bidding)..
Also idiots that bid days or even weeks before an auction ends driving the price up..
Reserves are the fucking worst..
Don't start the bidding at a penny if your not willing to take that.. fucking start the bidding at your bottom dollar.. save everyone a fucking headache

The plastic part at the bottom that accepts the mag and houses the trigger mechanism. Apparently they are susceptible to rotting from cleaning solvents, so the previous owner picked up two extras.

I’ve seen that much more on fleabay than I have on GB. I’m sure it happens but I know what to look for. I have yet to have Any issues with GB and I’ve purchased many firearms from there.

An online source I checked says that in 100% condition they are going for $650. I also checked a book source, it says: $650 for NIB. Remember that 100% and NIB are not necessarily one and the same as 100% may or may not have the box and papers.

I throw that stuff out anyways. No need for a box hanging around. I have a lot of guns and no one elver asks if I have the box.
$650 seems to be about the threshold. Stuff priced above that is sitting and stuff below that seems to be selling if its not beat to death.

What you said in the first sentence in the quote is not necessarily correct. I have had items up for sale on GunBroker.com that have had rapid fire bids from legitimate buyers after someone else placed a bid only because the one bidder, whose bids were rapid fire, had entered in a higher bid initially than all the others who entered bids. Thus each time someone else bid - his next bid was entered automatically by the system. On non-reserve auctions (not sure about hose with a reserve): It is not your maximum bid that shows in the bidding if there are bids lower than the next required bid, it is whatever amount of your overall bid that beats the lower one by whatever is the bid requirement at the time. So if your maximum bid is $500 on a gun that was currently at $250, and if a $5.00 bid increment was required, you bid would show as $255. If and when someone else bid $260, your next bid would automatically go in, as $265, almost immediately because you had bid a maximum amount of $500. And it keeps going like that. I have never once bid on my own items nor have I had a shill bidder make bids on them and I seriously doubt that many sellers resort to such unethical tactics.
