I picked up 1953 production 336 in 3t Rem it is sweet to shoot and works flawlessly.

It if your looking for a 357 rifle look at a Rossi 92 the new ones are much better then the older Braziltech since they retooled the factory.. I changed the springs and stoned a few part and she's slick as greased hog.

When you say new, lik how new? When was the change made? How can you tell which is which?

Actually I think it's brilliant! Every time you have to reload, you can get back on target faster. I would do it. You got me thinking again.

When you say new, like how new? When was the change made? How can you tell which is which?

In the last I think 3 or 4 years new. If you work the action and it feels like grit is in the action that most likely is a older one the new ones are smoother but not slick you will feel everything moving in the new guns but not like its full of sand. You would need to do a lot of finishing work in the action to smooth it out on a older gun. Here's some links.

Mind you I'm fearless when it come to taking shit apart and working on it but this gun is pretty easy to work on once you got it apart.
