They're actually a nice little rifle. The 7 round was for compactness, the standard 10 round SS Marlin mag fits. IIRC older versions had wood stocks, the synthetic stock shaved off more weight. I like the last shot hold open design vs the 10/22.
Ive got 2 old ass skeleton guns(22mag, 410) that I can fit into my back pocket. They stick halfway up my back, but fit.
They weigh almost nothing and pack away so good I have to search through my backpack sometimes.
The 22mag has a revolving 5 shot cylinder....find another one of those.
The 410 is a single shot.
Both are accurate a 50 yards.
I havent shot any further than that.
