.308 Win
Had this Marlin X7 up for sale here and on GunBroker. It got a bid at GunBroker but the high bidder was, in my opinion, an arsehat. He at first wanted me to ship directly to him no FFL, then him asked for more time (which I gave him) to arrange things with an FFL, then rescinded his offer the day after the deadline for the FFL and payment. I just don't want anyone to think it had anything to do with the rifle itself. So, here it is again up for sale once more:
I am selling a blued Marlin X7 (previously called the XS7, the S standing for short action), in .308 WIN caliber. It has a pillar-bedded black synthetic stock, swivel studs, a Pro-Fire adjustable trigger which is adjustable down to 2.5 pounds (very smooth and crisp in my opinion), button rifling, fluted bolt, internal magazine, recessed muzzle crown and a soft touch recoil pad.
The selling price has been lowered to $325 with the pictured scope, rings and base; or to $275 without the pictured scope and rings; however, at that price it will come with the scope base since it came with the rifle. Those are my bottom line prices. Offer is made subject to availability.
Less than 100 rounds have been fired through the rifle, closer to 75. Metal is in excellent condition except for a small scratch on the left side of the barrel. Some minor scuffs on stock. It is mechanically excellent.
The scope is a mounted 2.5x10x44 SF Hawke Varmint scope. Scope has a few surface scrapes that do not affect optics or operation.Terms are cash only, no trades. Besides the selling price, buyer pays for NICS check and any transfer fee(s). This offer is pending availability.

This is available only for local pick-up in Nassau County, face to face sale only. It can be seen at a dealer of your choice as long as it is in a regular gun store or other regular business location and not in someone’s home or garage or anything like that. If you want, we could arrange to meet at Volko Supply Inc., located in New Hyde Park; as of last week they charged $25.00 for a rifle transfer (although I believe only a NICS check is required as this is a private sale). Sale must take place at a FFL holder's business location; again - as in a real store. Also can be seen at Nassau County Range in Uniondale; but if you want to see it at a range, you pay both of our range fees, I can supply ammo for test fire. No sales at the range - only viewing/test firing; however, if you break it, you bought it.
Sales only to legal residents of NY State who are legally eligible to receive and possess firearms. Sale is final, no returns, no refunds, no exchanges. No warranty express or implied, gun sold as is, which as I said is excellent in mechanics and finish; and as I said, it is available for inspection prior to sale. You can check my feedback at GunBroker.com under gbarthgwt, it is absolutely excellent. (It may not remain so for long once the guy who backed out of the auction sees the feedback I left for him. Although, if he leaves bad feedback, I am pretty sure GunBroker will remove it after not too long once I inform them of it.).
