Massive errors in FBI’s Active Shooting Reports from 2014-2022 regarding cases where civilians stop attacks: Instead of 4.6%, the correct number is at least 35.7%. In 2022, it is at least 41.3%. Excluding gun-free zones, it averaged over 63.5%.

I often read the FBI's annual report and I find that it is usually pain staking thorough and out right redundant in reporting of statistical categories. Meaning they could combine stats into a single category in many cases. They don't but you can like this person in the article did. Mass shootings are categorized after the results and victims counted so attempting to combine an incident that was thwarted by a citizen is impossible as it isn't known what the intent of the shooter was. Also, most real mass shootings like those perpetrated on schools are well planned and executed in areas that are "Gun Free Zones" so of course that would be a low statistical number as citizens abide by the laws. Today a mass shooting is simple more than one victim. This of course an effort to inflate numbers.

But the FBI report doesn't hide anything. Read it. It's all there.

If the real stats were known, it would prove the NRA's statement, "Only a good guy with a gun, can stop a bad guy with a gun."

No lib run org, wants anyone to have a gun but themselves.

If we were not armed, Obama would have started the massive relocation program of whites, to who knows where, to ensure diversity and fairness in housing.

Everyman's home is his castle, and castle laws apply in many burgs..hence fewer squatters and home invaders..seeking justice and reparations equity.

The trouble with the new data-driven world is that data can be manipulated or presented to say whatever you want it to say. I've seen this firsthand at work so management can say, "oh look, it's not us being assholes, it's the data!" STFU Bet a lot of you have seen the same thing.

Obviously the Feds want the data to show there's little to no benefit to an armed citizenry.
And they sure as shit don't want it to show that an armed citizenry is comparably as effective to law enforcement in stopping a bad guy with a gun.
People might then want to defund them and I'm sure they want to keep their jobs. (that's the motivation for some, for others it's just to disarm us but the end result is the same regardless of the motivation)

What we really need is smart funding - take the money away from Feds and State Gestapos and give it to the Sheriffs that have a Constitutional Duty that will respect and partner with an armed citizenry...and if they don't do their jobs, they can be voted out.

In a functional society, armed citizens who aren't law enforcement officers would complement law enforcement in protecting society from psychopaths who could launch an attack at any time and LE would welcome the help. Instead, you have Fed LE and several departments in our own state looking at armed private individuals as competition.

The bureaucracy is a joke.
