Good for him. NATO has been funded by the US for too long. Time to put up or shut up.

Probably the biggest reason why Europe has turned into a quasi-socialist mollifier of the people is because since WWII they have not spent anything close to their fair share not only in the NATO defense pact, but their own individual national defenses. That frees up a lot of money to pay off the do nothings, feed corruption and nepotism when you know that Uncle Sam is there at the ready.
