May 2018 Target Challenge

Beautiful day to be on the range today. I managed to mow the lawn and get out there to practice for the rimfire rifle shoot my club is holding on the 9th of June. We are shooting the 1/5 scal animal silhouettes at 40, 60, 75 and 100 yards. Got my .17 WSM and .22 Mag scope dope down for all the distances.
Yep, June 9 shooting starts at 10:30, 40 round course + sighters, no artificial support, any rimfire cartridge.
Shot my new S&W M&P 22 today have a not so bad target (It's not my Browning Buckmark for sure) But will try to do better tomorrow!
Official entry:
300 yard rifle. Shot prone, bipod front, bag rear. Savage 6.5 Creedmoor, Sig Sauer Tango6 5-30. Score is 43.
I brought and hung 100 and 200 yard targets, had my son with me and he decided his targets weren’t enough, so he shot those as well. He did pretty well though, scored a 40 on the 100 yard.

I don't think I have entered a target since Jan. So I shot this yesterday with my new S&W M&P 22 with open sights, tried to do better today no luck! I do like this pistol a lot ( No it is not the shooter my Buckmark is!!) So Official Target, I will say it is a 94 but maybe 95 no X's ?

Thanks this is going to be a good training pistol! I just ordered a fiber-optic sight for the front, I was not seeing the factory sight to well.

Thanks! Nice shooting! We had to go to the “official entry” because people would post targets that they wanted to show off but didn’t want for score, it makes it easier for me to see what is supposed to count and what is just fluff.
