Rules:
Entry posts must be marked "Official Entry"
Challenge must be completed in the same range session as it was started.
Entries must be shot and posted between 1 May and 30 June 2022
Print on 8.5x11 sheet of paper (should fill full sheet).
Any modification to the Targets, stances, or distance will disqualify the entry.
3 targets (Left, Right and 2 Hand) must be used in order to enter the handgun categories.
All targets posted must be unobstructed (nothing physically blocking the view of any portion of the target).
Multiple Entries: One set of targets per category will be counted for score, if you shoot the same category multiple times the highest scoring target set will be counted.
You may enter one to all categories if you wish.
Final tie breaker is date and time of entry.
Information required with each entry (any target submitted without the information below will not be considered):
Picture of target with the following information (examples given):
Description of gun (Remington 783, 38-06, 12-56x56 Simmons super spotter scope)
Distance (100 yards)
Stance or rest used (sandbag front and rear)
Caliber/Cartridge (.30-06 Springfield)
Load used (168 gr SHPBT, 59.5 grains H4831c, CCI primer)/ whatever factory load you used.
Date (22 June 2007).
The scenario: Shooting is fun and should be challenging. The pistol challenge this go around is designed to challenge your abilities and see how good you really are. Don't fret rifle shooters your targets will be just as challenging as the pistol.
Stance to use:
10 Yard Pistol Stance: Free style (no pistol can be shouldered)
25 yard Rifle Stance: Off Hand
50 yard Pistol Caliber Carbine (PCC) Stance: Freestyle or Bench Rest
100 yard Rifle Stance: From the Bench/ Bench Rest / Prone
100 yard Red dot/iron sight rifle stance: From the Bench/ Bench Rest/ Prone
Course of fire:
5 Rounds - for 25 yard & 100 yard rifle, 100 yard iron/no mag red dot and 50 yard PCC 50/5X max points
15 rounds for all handgun categories, 5 rounds per target. 1 target 2 hand hold, 1 target one hand hold -left hand, and one target one hand hold right hand. Be sure to mark each target as to the stance used for that target (2 hand, left hand, right hand) 150/15X max points
Scoring:
Bullseye targets: Score rings are on the target, a hit on the line counts for the higher score. A hit in the X ring counts as 10/1X. Practice bulls will not count for score.
Target to use:
Centerfire pistol, 50 yard PCC and 100 yard iron/No mag red dot use the SR1 target
Rimfire, pellet pistol use MR31 target
25 yard Rifle and 100 yard rifle se the orange circle/minion target.
