I don't think it's so much about removing Adams because of corruption, but it is about opening up a spot and clearing the way for someone else that "those behind the levers" want to run NYC. There are also many Conservatives who live here, we are just outnumbered. The problem with running is that the more people do this, it never solves the issue. It just lessens our numbers and gives the Dems free reign because there is ZERO opposition.
At least Brooklyn South and Staten Island have Rep. Mallotakis representing us. We also had some Conservative City Council representation until the last 5-6 years. Had people not kept running away, Bay Ridge would probably still have continued to be a Republican stronghold in Brooklyn.

Lee Zeldin lost the Gubernatorial race by a narrow margin. If all of those people who fled NY didn't leave, the outcome surely would have been different.
This was also affected by many lazy Conservatives who felt their votes didn't count because we are outnumbered, that mentality is really fucking us as a voting group.

Sad situation RTK, i feel for yah. But it is what it is. You might want to re-think thinking you can save NYC and get the fukk out. It is surely gonna suck worse if you stay there. I too, use to have your mindset, thinking if people would have stayed and helped turn the ship around, but here we are, like cowards, they all ran away and left us in a shithole mess when it COULD HAVE been fixed, IF, people weren`t such cowards to step up and kick some asses.
I`m thinking differently anymore, that its not worth it anymore to try to save a place that is already done. The only thing one can do now is, get the hell out and make the next place you move to, a better place than when you arrived to it.
