I agree that some women may prefer a female instructor & she may draw more women into the sport/ self defensive because they can relate better to one another.
Liked her and what she had to say all the way up until the very end where she casually mentioned that both extreme sides of the debate need to compromise. Sorry, but there's no longer any room for compromise as far as I'm concerned.
Having said, good for her for refusing to be a victim and for teaching others, especially women of color, to be strong, assertive and take responsibility for their own safety. She's a net benefit for the Pro-gun community and hopefully we see more of her. I can see her being an in-road to non-traditional (read: white and male) communities just like Colion Noir has become.
