And they were probably wearing level 2 vests because people with centerfire rifles were in the building. Might as well put on a heavy coat for all those would do.

The comments for that article just make me shake my head. And as usual the Brits want to give their 2 cents? Why are they concerned with our stuff? I have no knowledge of news at this type of local level going on over there. I wish they would understand that we don't give a flying fuck what they think.

My 2 cents....Going to a peaceful protest and openly carrying long guns with mags attached does NOTHING but fuel gun control legislation. These people just might as well of donated millions to the gun lobby crowd. The pictures will be used and manipulated for the gun lobby good. WTF are they thinking?

That may be so, but I still say good.

I'm glad they did.

Politicians need a little fear. The media needs a little fear. (let's be real, the media is never going to treat us fairly so let's stop trying to win a popularity contest with them, I don't care what they think, but I digress) They need to remember they work for us and we are not their subjects. They need to eat some humble pie. They need to remember that this is America the land of the free and home of the brave. We have rights.

I don't think someone who's livelihood got destroyed because our Government chose to emulate the China model as a fix for this gives a rats ass. I know a couple with 2 kids and both their jobs got axed! These protests will only grow as they should!

At this time ,my 2 cents, there is no need to bear arms at a peaceful protest. This macho crap is doing more bad than good. It's not 60 years ago when youngsters could take their long gun to school and hunt after. It's not like youngsters walking back from a hunt...being stopped by the cops and only asked.."get anything" The media will use this as I said before. And because the left and gun grabbers control the media..it won't go well. Watch the news and see if it is said..."they have a right to bring them to a protest" See if they say "defenders of the Constitution" They, because of the actions of the 2nd amendment people,will sway people who haven't made their minds up. AND that will hurt at the ballot box. There can be no good from this.

And a thought.....why would a person take their gun out unless they were going to use it ? Intimidation ?? That's all I see.

As far as the media goes it doesn't matter either way. We'll never be painted in a good light. So you may as well stand up for what you believe in and not try to appease anyone. And you have to use your gun if you carry it? You carry your gun in case you need it. No one gets a carry permit to use it every time they go out. In this instance they are showing that the people are the ones with the power. As it should be. Not trying to start anything but this post sounds like the Brits in the comments.

If you've been sleeping lately you missed the fact the media and hollywood control all the propaganda. And the media matters unless a person enjoys tossing gasoline on a small fire to make it a bigger fire. There was no need to bring guns there. It changed nothing except more fuel for the left.
