Middletown Gun Show This Weekend

This Saturday 9 to 5 and Sunday 9 to 3 at the Orange County Fairgrounds.

The nov. show usually has lots of people. I will bet it will be mobbed today.

I remember when it was a LOT bigger. I just wish they allowed a little more room between table rows, and restricted strollers like they do loaded handguns.

Same here. Made it as far as Collector, and spent my money on a Ruger Mark IV Hunter.

Went earlier with my son. Reloader guy was there. Hung out with BulletGuy for a little while. Nice stuff at his table. I remember how mobbed the show used to be BEFORE the UnSafe Act. Since, it hasn't been mobbed any time that I have been there. Today was a little busier than September but it still pales in comparison to what it used to be.

I think that traffic has dwindled because the prices have increased and we can't have as much cool stuff since the UnSafe Act. A neutered pet loses it's desire to hump things.

Most of the dealers want the same spot. This way return customers can find em fast. And many fight for the "prime" spots anyway. They want to be the 1st to molest customers that want to sell personal firearms.

I only say this because we display in the RCC home show since 1990 and we always had the same spot and all the other regular vendors always had the same spot, And when you walked thru the show it always looked like last years show , We also wanted to be in the same spot so people could find us, last year the "new" show promoter insisted no one can have there old spot. I was pissed and was going to make it our last year there. To my suprise in talking to the attendee's they were all saying it was the best show they been to in years, WTF it was almost the same people the only difference was no body was in the same spot. This is why I suggested it. I seen it work ,

good luck with the show I hope its profitable for every one investing in a table. I also hope all of my forum fellow member find just what they were looking for at an affordable price.
