More than half the power of a news organization is deciding which stories to promote and which ones to ignore. That is why I rarely get my news from the mainstream organizations. They continually hide important stories. Ironically a somewhat famous lefty journalist (considered to be a russian agent by some) had one of the best lines about the washington post and newspapers in general. He said you never knew on what page the paper would put the page 1 story.
