What about cmmg 22 bolts for ar's? Those could be used on a pistol or a rifle, unlike the slide example given.
not sure really. What i'm saying is that this serial number action could shoot any of those calibers. when you convert a 10mm glock to shoot 40s&w do you register it twice? not saying i know the answer. but quite a few of us from my permitting class purchased the 320 and we all did the same thing.
Fair enough. It is an interesting dilemma.. I intend to get a SIG P320 eventually (if I can find one now that every Fed Agency is looking into changing to it), and was curious about the caliber changing ability.
I used to have a .22 cal conversion kit for my 1911 and never had it on my permit. Hell they shipped the kit right to my door.
I have the p320 , initially bought the full size 9mm. When I registered it, under caliber I put "9mm/40/357/45"
This was in westchester and it seems ok with them.
edit: i wanted to add that this was the advice of the people from the class i took to get licensed. I wouldnt have been smart enough to think of that!
