I think he had a chance honestly.
really?
He can't even get the people on this forum to back him (see the post below yours).
No, everyone is either looking for the perfect candidate or they are just grumpy old men who have already lost all hope.Has there ever been a (local) candidate that everyone on this forum got behind?
On another thread was posted a list of pro gun things Molinaro has done. It's so nice to not give a damn which antigun scumbag wins. One already did his thing, another will never get a chance. Fuck them both.

Is there a list of anti gun things hes done?
I ask in all seriousness.
Ive looked but cannot find any anti gun stances by this guy, just pro gun.
Thats got to be better than Cuomo.....right?
No. They will all vote "anyone but Cuomo" on election day. But, given that this is a race for "Governor of New York City,"....it....just...doesn't....matter.....No, everyone is either looking for the perfect candidate or they are just grumpy old men who have already lost all hope.
SAFE act was passed by BOTH PARTIES on bipartisan basis. The architect of SAFE act was Michael Bloomberg, it was signed by FUAC.
NY GOP is trying to milk this by shifting all the blame on FUAC.
The Safe Act was crammed down people's throats on a vote past midnight. Cuomo pushed it through by force and threats and empty promises.

Wow, that's some SERIOUS revisionist bullshit history.
Anyone who actually knows the facts, understands that the Pubs were COMPLETELY complicit with passage of SAFE. That's reality.
When I first head about the unSAFE Act I Emailed Libous every day up until it was passed telling him I was against it and all I got from him was an Email telling me, " We'd have to wait and see." He could of stopped it since he was the chairman of the committee it came out of. When it came to vote it out of the committee he abstained from voting for against it. It was then released to the Senate floor.
That would explain why they never raise a good candidate to challenge him or give their candidate enough support and exposure to mount a winning challenge. No amount of finger pointing at Skelos, or dancing around the facts will change the fact that most REPUBLICANS were/are in bed with Cuomo, and remain there today.
