Monocular recommendations

My wife would like one for Christmas and I don’t know much about them. I looked at the vortex on in 25mm and 36mm and I thought the FOV would be much higher on the 36mm lens but it’s only 10’ more. It weighs almost twice as much because of the glass in it.
Anyone have one the recommend thats light, compact, pretty good quality for around $200. I’m not super set on price but would rather not spend a fortune but if someone has a really great one they suggest for $300 fine I’ll do that.

I have one that was given to me as a gift or a stupid freebie for joining the NRA. It's a cheapy for sure but I still see them as worthless and would never waste the money on one myself. Buy her a good compact binocular w soft case.

Fair enough. Do you have a compact binocular that you recommend? It’s just for birding and nature hikes but with our other gear carrying heavy binos suck.

I have a Vortex Solo RT Ranging MRAD reticle that I bought years ago for about $120.00. I have had no issues with it. Good glass and clear edge to edge.

Actually here it is back in 2014. Currently $140.00 on Amazon.

That's the 10x one. No reticle but if you don't need or want one its still a good monocular and budget friendly. Cabelas has 15 off as well at checkout. Nice.
