Monroe county releases semi auto rifle permit process and renewal of premise permits for pistols

So they are saying 6-12 months for a rifle permit and around $125-150. This is absurd and needs to be struck down immediately. Rifle permits are renewed every 5 years as well as premise pistol permits, but other pistol permits seem to be 3 years, but they don’t address other restrictions if they still have them.

That's almost the same for Westchester county. But the amendment is $3 (I'm not 100% correct. But I think is still $3) but I dont want to do it just yet. I just renewed my permit before the new law came into effect and it's good until 2027 (5 years). A friend of mine told me that if you submit an amendment now. After crazy FUKH Safe act 2.0. They'll immediately make it good for only 3 years . I dont want that. I'll wait until all that crazy stuff gets tossed out. By then I'll probably won't even need any stupid rifle permit.

Watch out because your permit has to be renewed every three years as of 9/1/2022. I know the site still says 5 years but that is incorrect for a concealed carry permit. A premise permit is good for 5 years.

I don't know that. I already paid my $3 to remove my restriction. They should send me the new 3 year permit for free.

Wonder what Ontario County will do...but Ive made sure I have all the semi auto rifles I want. Irenewed just before and got a 5 yr renewal on PP .....for now...atleast till I move to S.C. Man..Permit this permit that.......my son has a Masters in Mental health Counseling and now to get a potential job with the county he needs to get his Permit for a MHC?? so far its taking as long as a PP might....my god...this state and permits to do anything......

You’ll get it if it’s free I dunno know, but what I’m saying is any concealed carry permit is now renewed every three years not 5 years despite what the incorrect website states. I’d hate for you to get jammed up over this.
