This is the short statement of "NYS will subsidize daycare in NY at taxpaayer expense"

lets start with over regulation. KinderKare went OOB because of overregulation, and taxes, they couldn't charge enough per child to stay in business.

I understand the need to protect children, but there is a point where it becomes intrusive. I took my kid to an unregulated daycare and the place was wonderful. The children were will cared for. I know because I often showed up in the middle of the day to check on my little guy (who is 32 now)

There is plenty of daycare out there, but ALL OF IT is expensive due to state regulation

and i bet babysitters are banned in NY from FUAC .. i remember watchin my 5 yr younger brother for hours at like 12 yrs old ..
